Cookie Policy

General Information
When you visit a website, it may store or retrieve small amounts of information on your browser, mostly in the form of cookies. This information is used to make the site work as you expect, to remember your preferences, and to help us understand how the platform is used. Because we respect your right to privacy, you can choose which optional cookies to allow. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the platform work.
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Xriven platform and the choices available to you. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you — such as your session or a display preference. Cookies set by Xriven are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by a provider we use to operate the platform are called third-party cookies. We also use similar technologies, such as browser local storage, where this Policy refers to “cookies” it includes those technologies.
The Types of Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as signing in, keeping you logged in, setting your privacy preferences, or protecting the platform against abuse. They do not store information used for marketing. Without these cookies, core parts of the platform will not work. These include cookies set by our authentication provider and our application backend.
Functional cookies
These optional cookies let the platform remember choices you make — such as your theme or display settings — so your experience is consistent across visits. They are off by default until you allow them. If you do not allow them, some preferences may not be remembered.
Analytics & performance cookies
These optional cookies help us understand, in aggregate and anonymized form, how the platform is used so we can measure and improve its reliability and experience. The information they collect is aggregated and pseudonymized. They are off by default until you allow them. If you do not allow them, we will not be able to use this information to improve the platform, but your use of it is unaffected.
What we do not use
Xriven does not use advertising or marketing cookies, does not build advertising profiles, and does not track you across other websites. We do not knowingly sell or share information collected through cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not engage in any activity that would constitute a “sale” or “share” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) or similar laws.
Browser Local Storage
For account security and abuse prevention, Xriven may store a pseudonymous device identifier in your browser’s local storage. This identifier is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling. It is retained for up to 90 days and is removed upon account deletion.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can review and change your choice for optional cookie categories at any time using the control (also available in the footer of every page). Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie so we can honor it on future visits.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the platform.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use a small set of trusted providers to operate the platform. In the course of delivering their part of the service, some of these providers may set strictly necessary or functional cookies or identifiers. We do not use them for advertising. You can review how each provider handles data in their privacy notices below.
- Clerk (authentication) — sets necessary cookies to manage secure sign-in and keep you logged in. Privacy Notice
- Supabase (application backend & database) — supports authenticated sessions and secure access to your own data. Privacy Notice
- Vercel (hosting & delivery) — may set necessary cookies for secure, reliable content delivery. Privacy Notice
- Stripe (payments, if you choose a paid plan) — sets necessary cookies for secure checkout and fraud prevention. Privacy Notice
- Sentry (error monitoring) — may set strictly necessary identifiers used only to diagnose errors and keep the platform reliable, with personal data minimized. Privacy Notice
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. You can review and change your optional cookie categories at any time through the control.
